I first encountered Barlow’s work in grad school. I prepurchased this edition because I knew it would be good! I’ve read that it takes 17 years for researched effective interventions to become mainstream…..I’d like to be a part of lowering that average.

What I like the most about this is the up to date researched effective intervention methods…..

Arrived in perfect condition and has been extremely useful already towards my studies as I am beginning graduate school. I have also been able to utilize this text in my internship as well, when I have been unsure of how to move forward in creating treatment plans for my clients. Definitely worth the price!

This book gives great information about a variety of mental illnesses and the treatments used for each. Research evidence is used to support the treatments most effective for treating each illness. This volume is up to date and relevant to the DSM-5.
